The making of a premium Alcohol Free, Vegan, Vegetarian and Halal Beverage
In 2010 we looked into the emerging Mocktail market, missed it, did not regret it as it turned out to be more shocktail than cocktail.
Our experiences was that the only expertise required was to poor cheap juices in a glass and add ice.
In 2017 we looked into the non alcoholic and alcohol free drinks space. The market was growing, had very few limits to entry and very few ‘real players’. The big brands were still unsure. Right time to step in? hopefully.
2023/24 /25 the market is taking shape, the big boys have the lo and zero versions of their products, what a poor show. I can hear the boardroom chatter now, “Just take the alcohol out and we’ll make a bigger margin” they forgot that the Alcohol Free and non alcohol brigade (of which I am one) actually wanted something that had taste and not just the alcohol removed.
That kind of attitude has left the market to develop its own new and unique flavours under some aspirational brands,
The market is expanding and ALCONOT are here with a premium product, a new product built from the bottom up, influenced by the tastebuds of our initial target markets.
Our products are certified by the Vegan Society and Halal Authority Board; who certified out products as Vegetarian and Halal.
We are also firmly placed to get SMIIC for the Gulf countries, our products are well within the requirements for SMIIC, we will officially announce this once we have the certification.
