Raspberry has a vibrant tangy and refreshing flavour, an aroma that is unique and the soft texture with an edible soft seed that pops and crunches when eaten, its a true sign of summer and can be enjoyed all year round. Over recent the once humble Raspberry has seen its popularity increase with a trend towards health conscious diets and more Vegan influences. Raspberry is now a national and international favourite for beverages and food recipes. Once available only and sometimes rarely in summers in the UK this vibrant and versatile fruit have become increasingly mainstream and   We know it tastes great on its own with crushed or lumpy ice or as a refreshing cocktail.

Raspberries have a unique taste profile which sets it apart from many of its counterpart berries, it is a complex fruit; its  sweet-tart taste, pronounced berry attributes, beautiful aroma, a soft textured and delicate fruit with a floral aroma, easily bruised but enjoyable as a fresh fruit right down to the seed and even more appealing as a flavour.

When you eat it, the delicate texture requires little pressure to release the wonderful tastes, followed by crunch of its seeds, the berry taste is followed quickly by the sweet and tart taste. The

Raspberry and Thyme to relax

Crushed Ice, shaken with our ALCONOT™ Raspberry Infused flavour and broken fresh raspberry, for added colour add some raspberry juice (not too much), shake until your happy, pour into your favourite glass.

Top it up with Fever Tree Aromatic Tonic Water or Raspberry and Orange Blossom. You can add some lemon juice (to taste) to give you that sharpness, or leave it out to keep the sweetness, choice is yours

Then finish off with a garnish of your choice, Thyme is shown in the picture but it goes equally well with Rosemary Sprigs, broken Coriander leaves or whole mint leaves. what ever garnish you chose you know you’ve still got 3 more to try.
